Isaiah 9:6-7 NKJV
For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
Merry Christmas Family, Thank you for sticking with us throughout the year. Your love, prayers, and support mean more than words can express.
For today’s message, what better way to celebrate than by honoring the true reason for the season; our Lord and personal Savior, Jesus Christ.
This season invites us to pause and reflect. Christmas is not just a holiday; it is a declaration. It announces that God stepped into human history; not from a distance, but personally, lovingly, and purposefully.
We all know Christmas as a time to share gifts with family and friends. But today, let us reflect on the greatest gift ever given to humanity. A gift that matters to you, to me, and to the entire world; whether acknowledged or not.
That gift is Jesus Christ.
His birth changed everything. Hope was born. Salvation was made available. Love took on flesh. GOD came near.
Jesus is not just a part of Christmas:
He is the heart of it.
He is the reason we celebrate.
He is the gift that keeps on giving.
Why did I say the birth of JESUS CHRIST matters, to me, and to the entire world; whether acknowledged or not?
Why The Birth of JESUS Matters?
1 John 3 NKJV
5 And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins, and in Him there is no sin. 7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
From the Beginning: Why Jesus Had to Be Born
To understand why the birth of Jesus is important, we must go back to the very beginning.

God Created Humanity for Relationship
God created human beings out of love and for relationship with Him.
“So God created man in His own image.”— Genesis 1:27 (NKJV)
God formed the first man, Adam, from the dust of the ground and breathed life into him.
“And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life.”— Genesis 2:7 (NKJV)
Later, God created Eve to be Adam’s companion.
“It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”— Genesis 2:18 (NKJV)
Adam and Eve were the first humans and the beginning of the human family. They lived in the Garden of Eden, where they enjoyed peace, provision, and close fellowship with God.
What Life Was Like Before Sin
Before sin entered the world:
Adam and Eve walked freely with God
There was no fear, shame, or death
Everything God created was good
“Now the man and his wife were both naked, but they felt no shame.”— Genesis 2:25 (NLT)
Their relationship with God was pure and unhindered.
Who Broke the Relationship and How?
God gave Adam and Eve freedom of choice, along with one command.
“Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat.”— Genesis 2:16–17 (NKJV)
The serpent (Satan) tempted Eve to doubt God’s word.
Genesis 3:1 NKJV
“Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?””
Adam and Eve chose to disobey God by eating the forbidden fruit.
“She took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.”— Genesis 3:6 (NKJV)
This act of disobedience is called sin.
What Sin Did to Humanity
Sin immediately broke the close relationship between God and humanity.
Shame entered
Fear entered
Humanity hid from God
Genesis 3:8 NKJV
“And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.”
Sin brought separation from God.
Romans 6:23 NKJV
“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
This separation did not stop with Adam and Eve; it passed to every human being.
Romans 3:23 NKJV
“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”
God Did Not Abandon Humanity
Even after the fall, God went looking for Adam and Eve and immediately began a rescue plan.
I will ·make you and the woman enemies to each other[T place hostility/enmity between you and the woman]. Your ·descendants[L seed]and her ·descendants[L seed]will be enemies. ·One of her descendants[L He]will crush your head, and you will ·bite[strike;T bruise;L crush]his heel[Rom. 16:20; Rev. 12:9].” Genesis 3:15 EXB
In Genesis 3:15. This was the first promise of Jesus; that a Savior would come to defeat sin and restore what was lost. God spoke to the serpent and promised that although sin had entered the world, it would not win. When God said that the woman’s descendant would crush the serpent’s head, He was declaring that a Savior would come through humanity to defeat Satan and undo the damage caused by sin. Though the serpent would bruise the heel, symbolizing suffering; the crushing of the head points to a final and complete victory. This was a promise because it assured humanity that God already had a plan for redemption, long before Jesus was born, and that sin and evil would not have the final word.
With this promise of redemption in place from the very beginning, the question then becomes: How would God fulfill His rescue plan? The answer is found in the birth of Jesus.
Why Jesus Had to Be Born
Jesus had to be born because God chose to save humanity by becoming one of us.
John 1:14 NKJV
“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”
Jesus did not come as an angel or appear suddenly as an adult. He came as a baby so He could:
Fully identify with humanity
Live a sinless life
Fulfill prophecy
Take our place
“For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses.”— Hebrews 4:15 (NKJV)
The Purpose of His Birth
Jesus was born so He could die for our sins and bring us back to God.
Matthew 1:21 NKJV
“And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.””
The manger leads to the cross. The cross leads to forgiveness. Forgiveness leads to eternal life.
John 3:16-17 NKJV
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”
Hark! The herald angels sing:
I love how the hymn 'Hark! The herald angels sing' put it; Born that man no more may die; Born to raise the sons of earth; Born to give them second birth
"Glory to the newborn King!
Peace on earth and mercy mild
God and sinners reconciled"
Joyful, all ye nations rise
Join the triumph of the skies
With angelic hosts proclaim:
"Christ is born in Bethlehem"
Hark! the herald angels sing:
"Glory to the newborn King!"
[Verse 2]
Christ by highest Heav'n adored
Christ the everlasting Lord!
Late in time behold Him come
Offspring of a Virgin's womb
Veiled in flesh the Godhead see;
Hail the incarnate Deity
Pleased as man with man to dwell
Jesus, our Emmanuel
Hark! the herald angels sing:
"Glory to the newborn King!"
[Verse 3]
Hail the Heav'n-born Prince of Peace!
Hail the Son of Righteousness!
Light and life to all He brings
Ris'n with healing in His wings
Mild He lays His glory by
Born that man no more may die
Born to raise the sons of earth
Born to give them second birth
Hark! the herald angels sing:
"Glory to the newborn King!"
The Hero In Your Story You Need
Is Christmas worth celebrating? Absolutely, yes. Heaven celebrated, angels rejoiced when JESUS was born, and truly truly; the Lamb is worthy.
Luke 2 New Living Translation
8 That night there were shepherds staying in the fields nearby, guarding their flocks of sheep. 9 Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared among them, and the radiance of the Lord’s glory surrounded them. They were terrified, 10 but the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people. 11 The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David! 12 And you will recognize him by this sign: You will find a baby wrapped snugly in strips of cloth, lying in a manger.”
13 Suddenly, the angel was joined by a vast host of others—the armies of heaven—praising God and saying,
14 “Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.”
He is the Savior you need in your life. You can choose to accept Him or reject Him.
The Bible tells us that to those who receive Him, He gives life eternal and abundant life.
And over the years, the real meaning of Christmas may have been diluted, misunderstood, or overshadowed by lights, gifts, and traditions. You can decorate the tree. You can jingle the bells. You can celebrate the season. But make no mistake; Jesus is the Hero your story needs. The truth remains: Christmas exists because Jesus was born.
And His birth means something for me and for you. Whether we acknowledge it or not, His birth matters. Whether we accept Him or reject Him, His coming changed everything.
JESUS CHRIST came to give:
Life
Healing
Hope
Salvation
Eternal life
As you dine, sing, jingle the bells, and deck the halls, remember what truly matters most. Don’t let the celebration cause you to forget the reason for it all.
Jesus is the heart of Christmas. He is the Lamb who was born, the Savior who came, and the King who reigns.
Celebrate fully; but never forget Him.
Celebrate HIM not it
John 3:17-18 NKJV
“For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”
If there is one thing this season gets right, it is the spirit of giving. And today, I invite you to receive the greatest gift of all: the gift of salvation by saying the below prayer with me. It is the best gift you will ever receive, a gift freely given by God through Jesus Christ.

what must I do to be saved?
The Bible says in Acts 2 NLT
38 Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 This promise is to you, to your children, and to those far away—all who have been called by the Lord our God.
It Further tells us as we see in John John 3:17-18; “He who believes in Him is not condemned. You aren't condemn, doesn't matter what you have done, who you were, the message is absolutely 'COME AS YOU ARE'
First acknowledge that you are a sinner
Acknowledge that you cannot save yourself
Acknowledge that JESUS is the son of GOD and HE came to the world to die for your sins, HE took your place and bore all the consequences of your sins
Receive JESUS no into your life by accepting the free gift of salvation and eternal life by confessing
Shall we do this by saying the below prayer?
